Mrs. Pastures Cookies for Horses expands product portfolio with two new treats: Mindful Minis™ and Barnyard Besties™

Mrs. Pastures® Cookies for Horses, an Alltech company, has introduced two new treats to its product offering: Mindful Minis™ and Barnyard Besties™. Mindful Minis is a low-starch, low-sugar cookie featuring gut-buffering technology, perfect for the horse whose diet requires extra mindfulness. Barnyard Besties was designed for goats and sheep, but horses can enjoy these treats too.

“Mrs. Pastures focuses on nourishing the bond between humans and horses, and we are thrilled to announce the launch of our two latest products,” said Mrs. Pastures account manager, Joanna Russell, who is also a United States Equestrian Federation professional. “With these new offerings, Mrs. Pastures is expanding our reach to meet the needs of even more horse owners and their companions.”

“Mindful Minis allow us to provide a delicious, forage-based option for horses with dietary considerations,” Russell said. “As an owner of a horse with starch and sugar sensitivity, it was challenging to find a product on the market that provides you with the emotional satisfaction of feeding a treat while bringing the same eager anticipation to the horse. Opening the bag of Mindful Minis and smelling the aroma truly provides you with the experience of feeding a treat that has the indulgence factor, but without the health concerns.”

About Barnyard Besties, Russell said, “Sheep and goats can be delightful companions, both to horses and as pets. They have their own special personalities, and this treat will help build a bond with them. As a bonus, Barnyard Besties feature special gut-buffering technology that helps alleviate the concern of bloat.”

Mindful Minis are made with alfalfa, flaxseed and pomegranate, while Barnyard Besties are made with kelp, oats and vanilla.
