Axel Aguayo Villarroel is a Chilean veterinarian with a postgraduate degree in Animal Production and Health from the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain.
Axel has a solid technical and commercial background in the poultry and swine industries, having worked with Nuproxa Switzerland in Europe, and with Nuproxa Chile and Veterquímica in Chile — companies with a presence throughout Latin America.
His professional training led him to specialise in monogastric nutrition, specifically in formulation and nutritional strategies for poultry. This knowledge, combined with his extensive practical experience, has enabled him to achieve a positive impact and consistent results in production performance, animal welfare, and customer profitability.
Throughout his career, Axel has worked closely with producers and companies in the sector, providing technical advice in nutrition and management, and developing projects aimed at reducing antibiotic use, improving productivity, and promoting sustainability. His profile combines a strong scientific foundation with a practical, results-oriented approach focused on technical development and long-term customer relationships. His key personal and professional strengths include his self-taught nature, resilience and perseverance, and his passion for continuous learning.

Over the past few months, Axel has completed intensive internal training at the headquarters, the Hubbard R&D Centre and production facilities in France.

Bruno Briand commented: “We are very pleased to welcome Axel to the Hubbard family. Axel is a young and very promising colleague who will support our customers and assure high-quality customer service, supported by the team of Hubbard specialists, to further strengthen and grow our business in Spain and Portugal. He is an enthusiastic, approachable and team-oriented person who enjoys taking on new challenges and adapting to different environments. We all wish him much satisfaction, fulfilment and success in his new role at Hubbard!”
