Cobb-Vantress, LLC, a global leader in poultry genetics, today announced the promotion of Mark Hamby to Director of Sales, North America, where he will lead commercial sales efforts across the United States and Canada.
Hamby brings nearly 30 years of poultry industry experience to the role, including expertise spanning live production, breeder operations, processing and animal health. Since joining Cobb in 2017 as Senior Sales Manager for the Southeast region, he has played a key role in strengthening customer relationships, supporting business growth and helping customers achieve success with Cobb products.
In his new position, Hamby will be responsible for leading North American sales strategy and customer engagement efforts while working closely with cross-functional teams to support continued growth and value creation for customers throughout the region.

Hamby earned a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science with a minor in Poultry Science from the University of Georgia. Throughout his career, he has held leadership roles across broiler, breeder, live production and processing operations, as well as commercial positions supporting poultry producers. His diverse experience across the poultry value chain has provided him with a deep understanding of customer needs and the challenges facing today’s poultry industry.
