EuroTier 2026: DLG Spotlights Showcase the Future of Livestock Farming
ShareShareShareShareShare

10-13 November 2026 in Hanover, Germany – Leading theme: “Intelligence in Animal Farming”– DLG Spotlights: Live demonstrations and special feature exhibitions focus on key topics at the world’s leading trade fair for professional animal farming and livestock management www.eurotier.com

Covering all major livestock species, including cattle, poultry, horses, sheep and goats, the DLG Spotlights at EuroTier 2026 – the leading exhibition for livestock professionals, will showcase innovations and future-focused developments across the livestock sector. From 10 to 13 November, attendees can explore the latest developments in robotics, emission reduction and forage production. Among the highlights of the DLG Spotlights are the “TopTierTreff” (“Top Genetics”), where selected breeding animals are presented live, the “Barn Robot Event”, Emission Reduction and the new Forage Production focus. DLG (German Agricultural Society), the organizer of EuroTier, expects around 2,100 exhibitors from more than 55 countries at the global industry event in Hanover, Germany.

The technical program of EuroTier 2026 includes lectures, panel discussions and networking formats covering all key areas of livestock production and related energy sectors. Complementing this program, the DLG Spotlights provide practical insights into the industry’s most important future-oriented themes. Through live demonstrations and curated special exhibitions, visitors can discover innovative technologies, processes and concepts designed to make livestock farming more efficient, sustainable and animal-friendly.

Practical DLG Spotlights Bring Innovation to Life

One of the key attractions for the cattle sector is the Barn Robot Event in Hall 13, where manufacturers of advanced milking technology will present their latest robotic solutions for automated milking systems. The focus will be on conversion concepts from conventional milking parlors to robotic systems, solutions for new barn construction projects and technologies for milking large dairy herds. Moderated demonstrations throughout the exhibition will provide practical insights into the potential of automation in modern dairy farming.

The DLG Spotlight “Emission Reduction” in Hall 17 will demonstrate how livestock farming and climate protection can be successfully combined in practice. Exhibitors will present innovative technologies and processes for reducing emissions in pig and poultry production. Through direct exchanges with industry experts and presentations on the adjacent Expert Stages for pigs and poultry, visitors will gain valuable insights into environmentally responsible and economically viable production systems.

The “TopTierTreff” (“Top Genetics”) in Hall 11 will once again serve as a central meeting place for national and international breeders in 2026. Leading breeding companies and organizations will present current breeding strategies while providing a platform for knowledge transfer, networking and innovation in dairy and beef cattle breeding. New in 2026, live animals can be viewed both at their stands and on a large panoramic video screen.

The DLG Spotlight “Forage Production” will celebrate its premiere at EuroTier 2026. In Hall 12, exhibitors will demonstrate how smart farming technologies can improve the quality of maize silage, grass silage and hay throughout the entire production chain, from harvesting to ensiling and storage. This offering will be complemented by the new “Forage Days”, taking place on 12 and 13 November. During these special theme days, the DLG Expert Stage Cattle, as part of the Forage Production Spotlight, will focus on the production of high-quality forage and its targeted use in ruminant nutrition.

Another new feature at EuroTier 2026 is the “Innovation Boulevard”. Located in a central area at the entrance to Hall 21, this special exhibition will feature products recognised with the Innovation Award, alongside other notable innovations in animal farming, feed, management and technology. Visitors will gain a concise overview of the latest developments and then have the opportunity to meet the product developers directly at their exhibition stands for more in-depth discussions.
