EuroTier 2024 Showcases Innovations in Sustainable Animal Farming
ShareShareShareShareShare

EuroTier 2024, which opened on November 12 in Hannover, is a premier international showcase of innovative technologies and sustainable practices in animal farming.

Hosted by the German Agricultural Society (DLG), this biennial event features over 2,300 exhibitors sharing the latest advancements in animal welfare, feed innovations, digital farming solutions, and alternative protein sources.

Event highlights include the World Poultry Show and the FarmRobotix platform, where attendees can explore the latest in automation, robotics, and AI-driven solutions for the farming industry. Inhouse Farming, another key sector at the event, focuses on automated insect farming as an eco-friendly protein source, reflecting the growing interest in sustainable protein alternatives.

DLG’s Expert Stages offer insights into specific themes for poultry and dairy farming, with a focus on animal health, welfare, breeding, and feed efficiency. Additionally, the Innovation and Animal Welfare Awards honor outstanding contributions to the industry. The show will run through November 15, 2024.

M. Matt, Managing Editor of Livestock & Poultry Middle East and Gulf Agriculture magazines, is covering the event for our readers. “Attending Young Farmers Day yesterday underscored EuroTier’s pivotal role in shaping the future of livestock production. It’s evident that EuroTier continues to drive advancements in sustainability, efficiency, and innovation within agriculture,” Matt commented.

Gulf Agriculture and Livestock & Poultry Middle East are the leading agricultural and livestock publications in the Middle East, dedicated to encouraging regional farmers to enhance crop and livestock production for food security.
