DLG-Spotlight “Barn Robot Event” in Hall 13 – live cleaning demonstrations in simulated animal housing environment
(DLG). The new DLG-Spotlight ‘Barn Robot event’, which will premiere at this year’s EuroTier 2022 in Hanover, Germany, will offer live demonstrations of cleaning robots of for dairy housing floors. With the focus on digitalization and automation, the spotlight takes place in hall 13, 15-18 November, at the world’s leading trade fair for professional animal husbandry and livestock management.
On a test area in the EuroTier hall, the autonomous robots will be performing cleaning of slatted floors hall using matter that simulates the properties of real manure. A particular challenge will be posed by a series of cubicles set up to simulate real requirements in the animal housing area.
On each of the four exhibition days in the mornings and afternoons in moderated presentations – German 10.30 – noon CET and English 14.30 -16.00 CET – EuroTier visitors will gain insights into the future of animal husbandry robotics in practice.
DLG is partnering with the Haus Düsse Agricultural Centre (Chamber of Agriculture of North Rhine-Westphalia) and the University of Bonn for the “Barn Robot Event”.
