New trade fair is complemented by live animal auctions, animal beauty contests, a comprehensive technical conference and forum programme
Abu Dhabi – Taking place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), EuroTier Middle East will be a new EuroTier-branded event taking place in 2019 outside Germany. EuroTier, the parent event in Hanover attracts 2,600 exhibitors and 155,000+ visitors, making it the world’s leading trade fair for animal production. The new event in the UAE benefits from the EuroTier brand, which offers a comprehensive overview of global topics and trends in modern animal husbandry, and corresponding cross-species inputs such as feed and dairy.

EuroTier Middle East is coming to the region with the aim of developing the animal farming and animal husbandry sectors. With the agenda of achieving agricultural innovation in desert environment, the newly restructured Abu Dhabi Agriculture & Food Safety Authority is exclusively supporting EuroTier Middle East.
For the first time in the Middle East, visitors will experience a live animal beauty contest which will be held as a part of the trade fair. Contest categories will include weight, meat quality, and milk production across a variety of breeds of sheep and goats.
Alongside the beauty contest, visitors can participate in a live animal auction of local and foreign breed animals, a major attraction for breeders and companies active in the area of genetics. All participating animals will be on display.
A full programme of technical conferences and forums relevant to those involved in agriculture in the region are also part of the event and will run over 3 days. The new trade fair’s organisers, the DLG (German Agricultural Society) and its local partner in the UAE, the Abu Dhabi Food Agriculture and Food Security Authority (ADAFSA), have put together a line-up of seminars and events that have been tailored to provide the latest information on a range of regional topics. All conference and forum sessions throughout the three days of the exhibition will feature simultaneous translation in Arabic and English
