The product is a mixture of peat moss (dead plant fibers from bog) and wood shavings (a type of sawdust).
It prevents conditions where bacteria and sickness are hard to develop. The mixture can be made (customized) accordingly to your needs.
For example, 50:50, 60:40, 70:30 (peat moss : wood shavings).
